Research: Rolling Stone

Rolling Stone is a United States based magazine, not only devoted to music but focuses on liberal politics and popular culture.  The magazine  was founded in 1967 and is published every 2 weeks. In the 1990's Rolling Stone changed it's format to appeal to a younger audience, this included focusing on younger actors, artists and pop music. After criticism for doing this, Rolling Stone has in recent years resumed to its traditional content of a mixture including political stories. This has resulted in an increase in circulation for the magazine. There have been many iconic covers of Rolling Stone including The Beatles who have appeared on the cover over 30 times either as a band or separately.
